Wah! Love Island runner-up Faye Winter broke down as she was reunited with her boyfriend Teddy Soares for the first time in a week

After placing fourth in last week’s final, Teddy shared the moment of their reunion with fans as he was met by Faye at her door in an epic surprise.

The reunion comes after Faye and Teddy spoke candidly about their relationship and journey inside the villa in an ITV interview, with Faye branding herself ‘fiery’ and telling Teddy: ‘I can’t sit here and promise you that won’t happen again.’

The blonde bombshell was referring to their expletive-filled row that took place earlier this month, racking up a record-breaking 24,763 Ofcom complaints and prompting viewers to demand Faye’s removal from the villa.

When asked what about their relationship makes the romance work, Faye responded: ‘I’m so fiery and Teddy is so cool. He is the coolest guy I know and I’m so fiery. He chills me out.’

Teddy added: ‘I’m the ice to her fire to be honest! Overall we have so much fun together, we take the p*** out of each other and we have our affectionate moments. We’ve got such a fine balance.’

He continued: ‘Even the arguing, I think that’s healthy in every relationship. It’s just how you deal with it.’

Offering up her thoughts, Faye said: ‘That’s why when we made up I said to him I can’t sit here and promise you that that won’t happen again.’

She then admitted: ‘Because I can’t say that I won’t argue and I won’t shout. That’s not something that’s in me. I am a fiery person.’

However, Faye insisted: ‘Obviously, I know how to deal with things better now.’

Complaints: The blonde bombshell was referring to their expletive-filled row that took place earlier this month, racking up a record-breaking 24,763 Ofcom complaints

The infamous argument took place earlier in August when Faye let rip at Teddy after watching a clip of him in Casa Amor.

The video, shown during the islander’s Movie Night challenge, saw Teddy tell fellow contestant Clarisse Juliette that he was ‘sexually attracted’ to her.

Faye’s rant – branded ‘horrendous’, ‘abusive’, and ‘gaslighting’ by fans of the show – resulted in the most expletive-ridden episode ever, with reports that contestants swore 125 times, while Faye is said to have said ‘f**k’ 57 times.

And in the aftermath of the explosive scenes, Ofcom confirmed the episode received nearly 25,000 complaints.
