Love Island’sTerry Walsh has become a father for the first time after his fiancée Danielle Purdy has given birth to a baby girl.

The 32 year old, who disappeared from the spotlight after starring on the 2016 series of Love Island, and Danielle have welcomed a baby girl called Talia Renè-Rose.

Terry’s fiancée shared the news as she posted a series of photos of the bundle of joy on her Instagram page.

One snap shows new dad Terry kissing his little girl on the forehead while another shows new mum Danielle looking emotional as she holds her baby girl after giving birth in hospital.

Danielle then announced in the caption: “Our precious baby girl finally arrived 12 days late on 09.03.21.

“She kept us waiting and on our toes in her emergency arrival but is everything we dreamed she would be and more.

“Words cannot describe the love and happiness. We are on cloud 9 and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives watching our baby grow.

“Thank you to our family and friends for all of the messages, cards and gifts we are overwhelmed with all of the love.”

The couple were flooded with messages of congratulations in the comments.

One follower wrote: “Congratulations to you all. She is absolutely gorgeous, look at all that hair Such a loved little soul already”.

Another added: “Ohhh my what a little beauty!! You look beautiful too mummy well done hun..”

As a third gushed: “She’s gorgeous! Congratulations xx”.

It comes after Danielle announced the couple were expecting their first child together in September.

In a sweet social media post uploaded by stunning brunette Danielle, Terry is seen beaming at the camera as the pair hold up a sonogram of their unborn daughter.

Danielle wrote alongside the adorable image: “The best birthday present I could ever have wished for was seeing our baby again today so special.

“We are absolutely over the moon to be expecting! We can't wait to meet our little darling. Due February 21 love you so much already!”

Terry found fame on the second series of Love Island in 2016, causing a stir when he left Malin Andersson for new arrival Emma-Jane Woodham after the former's shock elimination.

He later caused controversy when he had sex with Emma-Jane while the other contestants were in the room.

After the show, Terry and Emma-Jane split in February 2017 and he later deleted his social media accounts but has since made a comeback.
