The Papercuts singer was baffled at the backlash and later revealed the 47-year-old rocker did a verse on his last album, but it was ‘f***ing terrible, so I didn’t use it.’

MMA fighter Conor McGregor branded Machine Gun Kelly a ‘little vanilla boy rapper’ after they were squared up on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York earlier this month.
It all went down as Kelly and McGregor were both posing for photographers on the red carpet with their respective partners – Megan Fox and Dee Devlin – by their sides just before the start of the show.
Kelly’s movie star girlfriend Fox was among the people who stepped in between the two would-be fighters, and then wrapped her arms around him as the couple were led off past the growing crowd that had gathered
McGregor later brushed off the scuffle, telling a reporter nothing happened because he only spars with ‘real fighters’, and only knows who the musician is because he is dating Fox.
Clash! MMA fighter Conor McGregor branded Machine Gun Kelly a ‘little vanilla boy rapper’ after they were squared up on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday
McGregor told Entertainment Tonight: ‘Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy.
‘Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.
McGregor’s rep also said he does not know who Kelly is and insisted that his client wasn’t the one to start the scuffle.
It was first reported that McGregor asked MGK (born Colson Baker) for a photo, but the Bloody Valentine star shot him down, according to TMZ.
However McGregor’s spokesperson has since told MailOnline: ‘Conor McGregor did not ask anyone for a picture, nor did he instigate this incident. He does not know Machine Gun Kelly, outside of the fact that he attended Conor’s fight this past July.’
How it all went down: It all started when McGregor asked Kelly for a photo, which the rocker declined, according to TMZ

Fight night: MGK and Megan previously attended a fight which saw Conor McGregor take on Dustin Poirier at the T-Mobile arena in July earlier this year
Comments: Conor’s spokesperson said all that he knew of MGK was that he had previously attended his fight
Reports have suggested that words were exchanged and the situation escalated to the point where Kelly pushed McGregor, who then stumbled back and spilled his drink.
The Irish fighter is currently walking with a cane as he recovers from a broken tibia bone that he suffered in his last bout with Dustin Poirier on July 10 at UFC 264.
After collecting himself for a brief moment, McGregor threw what was left of his drink at Kelly, which was also in the vicinity of Fox.

Dressed in a pink blazer and black pants, McGregor can be seen shouting and lunging at MGK, who was decked out on a glittery red suit, in photos and videos shot at the scene.
During the clash, Fox stepped in between the two men as they shouted, and kept them separated, along with the help of members from their respective teams and security.
And in the end, the brunette beauty and company were able to break it up just enough to help keep the peace before things got really nasty.
It appears that neither Kelly or McGregor ever landed a punch on the other during the row.
