Jennifer Lopez reportedly gave Alex Rodriguez, her fiance of two years, the boot last week over his rumored ‘close friendship’ with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy.

LeCroy, 30, dodged questions about the couple’s split when she was spotted leaving the gym in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday – despite repeated claims that she was the catalyst to ending the A-lister’s romance.

Meanwhile on Monday, Alex Rodriquez, 45, subtly hinted that he and Lopez’s relationship might actually still be intact in a social media post about moving ‘onward and upward’ in which he tagged the 51-year-old star.

Madison rocked a trendy workout ensemble over the weekend as she stepped out to hit the gym. The southern belle looked ready for the cameras in a pastel spandex two-piece with color blocked lavender and blush leggings with a lace-up high waist and a matching sports bra.

The Bravo star wasn’t wearing a protective face mask, despite the pandemic, and appeared to have a light layer of makeup on with her blonde tresses tousled.

She was peppered with questions over her alleged involvement in Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship downfall but kept her mouth firmly shut, simply shrugging and waving one hand dismissively.

Her outing comes just days after it was reported that Lopez, 51, put an end to her four-year relationship with the former MLB player after their romance was dogged by rumors of infidelity on Alex’s part.

However, on Saturday, the pair released a statement saying earlier reports of their split were ‘inaccurate’ and they are ‘working through some things.’

Rodriguez seemingly doubled down on the notion that he and Jennifer were still together with a cryptic social media post on Monday.

‘Happy Monday. New week. New day. Onward. Upward,’ Alex wrote in an Instagram story showing a video of a tropical resort. He even tagged Jennifer Lopez’s social media handle in the post.

The video was reportedly shot from his hotel in the Dominican Republic, according to TMZ, which is where Lopez is currently filming her next film Shotgun Wedding. It’s also the same place Alex and JLo were last photographed together earlier in March.

Last week, the couple’s split allegations were widely reported by multiple news outlets, including Page Six and CNN, which cited close sources saying the couple had called it quits after the relationship had been on the rocks for some time.

It was claimed specifically by Page Six that Jennifer and Rodriguez reportedly split over his alleged friendship with the Southern Charm star.

All good? It was widely reported on Friday that Jennifer dumped Alex but by Saturday the pair released a statement saying earlier reports of their split were ‘inaccurate’ and they are ‘working through some things’ (Pictured in 2019)

During the episode, Madison was also accused of sleeping with the unidentified sports star but she denied ever seeing the man in person, although she did admit to DM-ing him. 

Suspicions arose that the person could have been Rodriguez, despite him not being married and only engaged at the time to Jennifer.

Later, Madison revealed in an interview with Page Six she had been in ‘innocent’ communication with Rodriguez but that they had ‘never met up’ and only ‘spoken on the phone’.

‘That’s the truth,’ the reality star claimed, clarifying they had ‘never been physical… never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance.’

Madison also insisted that Rodriguez had ‘never physically cheated’ on Jennifer with her and that their phone calls had been ‘inconsistent’ and ‘random’. The reality star would not reveal what was discussed.
