Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power denies she’ll star on Love Island UK because she’s ‘happy in her current relationship’ – just days after claiming she was ‘very open’ to appearing on the reality show

Former Married at First Sight Australia star Jessika Power recently sparked rumours that she was set to star on Love Island UK. 

But on Friday, the 29-year-old reality star denied that she’s headed for the hit dating show – because she’s happy with her boyfriend, Filip Poznanovic.

Posting to her Instagram stories, the influencer wrote: ‘Can confirm I am NOT doing Love island haha and am happy in my current relationship with my partner’.

The blonde bombshell added: ‘Some of these articles are insane but entertaining’. 

The statement comes just days after Jessika told MailOnline that she would be ‘open’ to appearing on the UK version of the dating show.   

When asked if she’d like to do Love Island in the UK, Jess replied: ‘100 per cent. 

‘I’m very open to these shows being able to work for your love life and I would be very open to coming over to the UK and doing a show like that.’

She added: ‘I actually had Scotty T from Geordie Shore message me last night because him and I had a thing when he was here and we have always kept in contact.

‘He kept asking when am I coming over… but never again. I had Stephen Bear message me as well but I’ve heard some outrageous things about him!’ 

While she may not he starring on Love Island UK, Jess does have a new reality show in the works. 

 Open: The statement comes just days after Jessika told MailOnline that she would be ‘open’ to appearing on the UK version of the dating show. When asked if she’d like to do Love Island in the UK, Jess replied: ‘100 per cent’ 

 She added: ‘I’m very open to these shows being able to work for your love life and I would be very open to coming over to the UK and doing a show like that’. She has however confirmed she will appear on Celebrity Karaoke Club

‘I have actually been offered to do the show Celebrity Karaoke Club and we should be signing contracts later this week.’ 

The bubbly blonde went public with her new rapper boyfriend, who goes by the hip hop pseudonym Filthy Fil, in January. 

Last month, she  shared a loved-up Instagram post featuring videos and a photo of the couple putting on the PDA. 

She captioned the set: ‘IDGAF what people have to say about me so long as he sees the real me that’s all that matters #happy’.
