The Chase: Mark Labbett says Aaron is a ‘weak player’

Mark Labbett is dating TV presenter Hayley Palmer and she has since flown out to Los Angeles to be with him while he is filming Master Minds for Game Show Network.

She revealed she had met The Chase quizmaster, 57, at the National Television Awards in October, and the pair immediately hit it off.

Hayley shared she fell for him when he flashed her his Toby Carvery card and took to Instagram to confirm it.

The presenter uploaded a photo of herself holding the gold card and penned: “To confirm yes, Mark has a Toby Carvery Gold card, and I’m trying to get my hands on it!”

The 41-year-old has also detailed their struggles and shared she needs to wear heels when she is out and about with Mark who stands at 6ft 7in tall.

The couple shares the same agent who persuaded Mark to appear on Hayley’s show “Saturday Night with Hayley Palmer”.

During the programme, she challenged Mark to an 80’s Quiz and impressed him by getting four out of five questions right.

Mark then flashed Hayley a glimpse of his Toby Carvery Card which, to this day, Hayley is “trying to get her hands on!”

The couple bonded when they went on a non date to watch the Dirty Dancing Press Night at the Dominion Theatre.

Speaking in a new interview, the pair said they are not sure it’s love yet as it’s “too early to tell”.

While stateside Hayley revealed that her beau is unable to get his hands on a bag of Malteasers.

“They don’t sell Maltesers in LA, so we’ve been struggling to keep up with our own tradition,” she told The Daily Mail.

Speaking about their relationship, the couple said: “We are taking things really slowly. But this is the first time we’ve been able to do more than the odd date so it’s been fantastic.”

“We are getting on well and are happy.”

The pair have been pictured walking hand-in-hand while feeling “relaxed” in LA.

At the weekend the pair took to their social media accounts and shared photos at a restaurant tucking into a dessert.

Hayley told her 29,800 followers: “The Beast defeated by pancakes @cheesecakefactory. Doesn’t even want cheesecake!”
