Mark Wright documents impressive progress on his ‘£3.5m’ mansion with Michelle Keegan as he shows off sleek new bathroom and landscaping

Mark Wright has given his Instagram followers a glimpse into the impressive progress being made on his and Michelle Keegan’s ‘£3.5million’ mansion. 

The television personality, 34, used his wrightyhome account on Friday to document both the exterior and interior work that was being undertaken on the five-bed Essex pad. 

Panning the camera around the vast new bathroom, Mark showed off the stunning twin sinks, huge shower and free-standing bath tub.

New pad: Mark Wright gave his Instagram followers a glimpse into the impressive progress being made on his and Michelle Keegan’s ‘£3.5million’ mansion on Wednesday

He then videoed the work men who were driving diggers around outside as they perfected the landscaping at the soon-to-be lavish property. 

He explained in the clip: ‘Here is the sleeper wall going up, we are going to be planting trees all along that fence, the sleeper wall will retain all that earth and all of this will be driveway.’ 

Mark then climbed up on to the roof to show his followers the stunning views of the surrounding countryside as the couple near their move-in date.

He then posted another short video of two workmen putting up a bracket on the ceiling for a chandelier that will hang above the hallway. 

Mark quipped to the lads about the light fixture: ‘You better make that safe Johnny boy cos other wise we’re in trouble!’ 

Mark and Michelle, who are estimated to have a net worth of £12million, have been documenting the construction process after purchasing the original property for £1.3million in October 2019.

And despite months of delays due to the Covid pandemic, their five-bedroom mansion is beginning to resemble their architectural model, after builders put in the windows late in August.    

Due to various lockdowns and Covid restrictions, construction has been stop- start after they demolished a farmhouse and began building a five-bedroom mansion complete with bar, gym, granny annexe and outdoor swimming pool.

The couple won planning approval for the colossal building project back in January 2020 – and it looks like it’ll be over two years after that date until they can move in.  

Construction experts have estimated the demolition and rebuild of the home will cost around £3.5million.
