Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is set to battle former club Napoli for £40 million-rated striker Krzysztof Piatek in January.
The Polish striker has been in red-hot form for Serie A club Genoa this season, scoring seven goals in as many games.
And the Express report that Sarri will now look to the 23-year-old to replace the misfiring Alvaro Morata .
Piatek has been placed at the top of Sarri’s wanted list, but they face stiff competition from a host of clubs, including Juventus, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
