Michelle Williams and her new husband, Phil Elverum, have moved into new digs in Brooklyn.
The 37-year-old star married the indie musician, 40, in a secret ceremony in July in the Adirondacks.
The mom-of-one sold the sprawling Boerum Hill house she bought with her late love Heath Ledger — the father of her daughter Matilda, 12 – for $8.8 million in 2015.
She admitted in 2017 that she was “inconsolable” about the sale, confessing: “I felt, ‘How will he be able to find us? This is where we lived, and he won’t know where we are.’ And now I can’t believe I thought that.”
Reports in 2016 said Williams had bought a sprawling mansion in Ditmas Park.
But the actress told Vanity Fair’s September issue how she took Matilda upstate, in “a desire to create a sane home environment.”
Williams and Elverum, along with Matilda and Elverum’s young daughter Agathe, are apparently now back in Brooklyn to start their own family life. VF reports: “The actress, one of [Brooklyn’s] better-known residents, has lived in the Boerum Hill and Red Hook neighborhoods since 2005. On the day we meet she is about to move to a new part of Brooklyn, a location she has not yet disclosed.”
