There is a lot of love for James Milner out there at the moment.
The Liverpool midfielder, 32, is arguably playing the best football of his career as he continues to inspire the Reds, who have won all six of their competitive matches so far this season.
The latest of those wins came in thrilling fashion against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, when substitute Roberto Firmino’s stoppage time winner sparked the type of scenes that were often evident at Anfield during last season’s run to the Champions League final.
The 3-2 success was achieved despite the presence of superstar Neymar in the PSG team, with the Brazilian left subdued as the Reds got their European campaign off to a flier.
And there was one Milner moment in particular that Liverpool fans loved, in addition to his penalty which made it 2-0.
In the second period, the midfielder left Neymar on his backside when he – for want of a better word – ‘bodied’ the Brazilian into touch.
And as with most things Milner does, it got a lot of love on social media, largely because of disparaging comments Neymar made about Liverpool before the game.
And Milner himself shared an image of the challenge on his Instagram account on Wednesday morning, writing "Good crowd for the piggyback race yesterday", and adding the not too subtle hashtags #expensivepartner, #dontdrophim and #oops.
Never change James.
