‘I’m proud of my body but I need to get used to’: Molly-Mae Hague admits she’s torn between ‘wanting to hide’ and ’embrace’ her post-baby figure
Molly-Mae Hague spoke candidly about her post-baby body in a new vlog post on Friday.
The footage had originally been filmed in May, four months after she welcomed her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury, and the vlogger admitted she was wrestling with her feelings about her new figure.
The Love Island star, 24, who welcomed baby Bambi in January, was working on a new campaign with Gymshark at the time, which saw her strip down to leggings and a sports bra for a photoshoot.
The new mum spoke about her figure, explaining: ‘Obviously since having Bambi I’ve gained some weight, which is fine.
‘Like I said I’m only four months postpartum so I’m now a size medium so I’m probably a 10 to 12 at the minute.’

Expressing her nerves about the shoot, Molly-Mae continued: ‘I’m really proud of myself for today.
‘It was another challenge for me because gym outfits are quite tight and figure hugging like leggings, bras.
‘I have my midriff out and I’m stepping out of my comfort zone at the minute because my comfort zone right now is tracksuits that drown me!
It’s not the right time to be going into spring/summer right now because I just want to hide myself away!
‘But doing things like this and coming on shoots like this is so good for me. Just to embrace my new body and be proud of it.
‘Because I am but obviously it takes a moment to get used to it.’
Molly-Mae previously revealing didn’t ‘have the confidence’ to wear skimpy swimwear on holiday anymore.
Yet she embraced her post-baby body on a recent holiday, sharing a snap in a blue bikini that highlighted her physique.

Taking to her Instagram Stories she wrote: ‘My DM’s are making me [cry emoji]’.
‘I spoke on my YouTube about how I don’t think i’ll ever want to reach for a bikini on holiday again / feel confident in one…. I didn’t even bring any with me on this trip!’.
‘But today I went to the shop here and bought one because I realised WHO ACTUALLY CARES!’.
She continued: ‘ The thought of putting on a bikini before the holiday is always much more daunting than doing it in the moment and whilst on the trip… pack the bikini mama’s! and my girls who don’t normally! I promise that no one’s judging / cares’.
Earlier this month during a trip to Barbados the former Love Island star spoke numerous times about her lack of confidence and apprehension towards wearing skimpy swimwear.
While relaxing on a sunlounger, dressed in a white strapless bathing suit, Molly first admitted: ‘I’ve got this swimming costume on…for me at the minute swimsuits are the one.
‘I’m not a bikini girl at the minute because I just don’t have the confidence. I didn’t really have the confidence for bikinis before I had a baby.’
