Just hours after revealing to her fans that she’s engaged to longtime partner Danny Fujikawa, Kate Hudson made her return to the Met Gala.
The 42-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday afternoon, sharing a snap of her and her 35-year-old fiance kissing, while showing off her engagement ring.
She rocked the red carpet at the annual gala with a unique pink ensemble, while offering another glimpse at the rock.

Hudson hit the red carpet in an elegant ensemble from Michael Kors, showing off some skin with a skimpy pink bra.
The look also included a full-length matching pink maxi skirt and a pink feathered off the shoulder coat.
She completed her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, including diamond earrings and two glamorous diamond necklaces, plus Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

She teamed up with makeup artist Quinn Murphy, along with Keys Soulcare and W3LL PEOPLE for her Met Gala look.
The actress was walking up the stairs to the gala when she also showed off her engagement ring (via ET).
Hudson and Fujikawa started dating in December 2016, and they share daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, who turns three in early October.

The engagement was apparently in the works for quite some time, with the actress’ longtime friend Sara Foster adding, ‘Whoa. It’s official. Not gonna lie, been a hard secret to keep. I may have slipped and told a few people.’
Her sister Erin Foster added, ‘Finally we are officially sisters!!’ in her comment.
