The couple ensured every romantic box was ticked for the big day, as Nicky walked up the aisle with their two kids while Kelly was accompanied by her father Malcom to the tune of Hall & Oates track Had I Known You Better Then.
Kelly said: ‘Before the wedding, people told us to make sure we stood back to take it all in and we did that. It was even better than we could have imagined.’
They wed in front of just 30 guests, with a guest of honour in the form of Nicky’s 98-year-old mother Rena and his four siblings.
After the couple left the ceremony to the tune of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough After the party began at the Crypt at St Etheldreda’s.

On their non-traditional approach to the day, Lisa detailed: ‘No best man and no speeches, which I think my dad was relieved about!…
‘We just wanted to have a real celebration for the wedding. We’ve been together so long it was just about making that complete and to share it with the children. For us, we didn’t want the real textbook wedding, which can be quite stressful.
Nicky added: ‘The fact this started as a party and then turned into a wedding has meant we haven’t done this in the ‘normal’ way…
‘That’s not to deride anyone who has traditional weddings, it just wasn’t for us. There are people we haven’t seen for months due to the pandemic, and we wanted a big celebration.

Speaking about the bash, Nicky said: ‘The dance floor was full all evening. People put their disco pants on! Even the children were on their feet and were brilliant. Everyone said how well behaved they were all day.’
Nicky, who has two older children from a former relationship, spoke earlier this month about finding becoming a parent again ‘challenging’.
Nicky told the Express: ‘Being a dad again is challenging. I should be driving Ferrari’s, not changing nappies and getting up at six in the morning. My older children were slightly surprised when I had children.’

Nicky and Kelly met when Kelly was a stylist in Nicky’s salon and they have been together ever since.
He previously told OK! magazine of their relationship: ‘We feel really fortunate that we’re having another child. I’ve got a second chance at this. I have fantastic memories of being a new dad first time around.
‘So in some respects it’s not much different. But I like to think I have more patience now. The truth of it is I’m probably around a lot more.’
