He then appears to try to walk back into the venue while a female member of staff stands in front of him blocking the way.
A source told the newspaper: ‘We were at that bar at Lawry’s when we noticed what we at first thought was a homeless man completely drunk and being rowdy.
‘To our shock it turned to be Nicolas Cage. He was completely smashed and was getting into a bit of a fight with the staff.
‘He was in a really bad state and was walking around shoeless. Staff told us he had been downing shots of tequila and 1980 Macallan whiskey.’

Cage appeared to be ‘very out of it’ and was ‘most likely drunk’, an eyewitness told DailyMail.com at the time.
Cage, dressed in a dark jacket, red shirt and dark pants, was filmed slowly walking behind his girlfriend with his hands on his hips, muttering to himself.
At one point he raised his voice to say Koike’s ‘boyfriend’ was a drug dealer and that ‘he isn’t doing it’ – seemingly referring to getting a marriage license.
The video shows Koike calmly telling Cage, ‘I never asked you to do this’, before he smiles and gently pushes her through the hallway, saying ‘come on, let’s go’.
‘They started by filling the application in one of the machines,’ the source told DailyMail.com.
‘The whole time he was yelling ”she is going to take all my money” and ”her ex is a druggy, her ex is a druggy”.
‘The woman only kept saying ”Baby I am not asking you to do this”.’
Because the couple were making such a scene, they were taken into a private room and later left the courthouse with papers, according to the source.
The star – who is a nephew of legendary The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola – has spoken previously about his need to keep working so he stays out of trouble.
