‘Everybody is in the bar getting bladdered!’ Olivia Colman admits she ‘can’t remember’ winning her Oscar because she was DRUNK and claims meeting Prince William ‘didn’t go well’
She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for The Favourite, in February.
And Olivia Colman revealed she ‘cant remember’ the moment she won the accolade because she was too drunk, and everyone was ‘getting bladdered’ at the event.
Speaking frankly about getting the Oscar during an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, which is set to air on Friday, the actress, 45, revealed: ‘I actually can’t remember it.

Olivia is next set to appear on the third season of The Crown, taking over the role of Queen Elizabeth II from Claire Foy, though she admitted she didn’t do much in the way of preparation ahead of the show.
What the Peep Show star did do was meet royalty, but even that didn’t go as well as expected: ‘It didn’t go very well. I met Prince William at a dinner and he asked what I was doing at the moment before he quickly added, “Actually, I know what you’re doing”.

Olivia appeared on the talk show alongside her co-star Helena Bonham Carter, who is set to play Princess Margaret in the Netflix series.

Season three largely reflects the era of Harold Wilson, who served as Prime Minister from 1964 to 1970 and then from 1974 to 1976, when he resigned for health reasons.
Leading character Olivia will play the steely and constrained monarch as she faces her darkest time on the throne yet as she battles the miners’ strike, national security, sibling rivalry and family conflict ahead of her 1977 Silver Jubilee.
Olivia and Helena were joined on the show by Chadwick Boseman, comedian and actor Richard Ayoade, lady in waiting Lady Anne Glenconner, and singer Niall Horan.
