Oprah welcomes Gayle King’s grandson to home for first time by singing Circle Of Life… but reveals longtime pal can join them when she completes strict COVID-19 precaution ‘policy’

Oprah Winfrey welcomed the grandson of her longtime pal, Gayle King, into her household by singing Circle of Life with her family members in a video that was shared to her Instagram account on Thursday.

In the clip, the 67-year-old media personality and her loved ones were seen singing to her friend’s new grandchild before she was given a chance to get up close and personal with the baby.

Oprah was seen wearing a lovely and flowing white dress while she welcomed her friend’s grandson into her life.

The media figure was first spotted standing with Graham as their relatives began singing Circle of Life while Luca was brought towards their residence.

Making it clear: Oprah also wrote that she and her loved ones ‘missed his grandma @gayleking but she’ll join us once she completes the policy!’

She later joined in with her loved ones as they belted out another greeting for the newborn, who is shared by Kirby Bumpus and her husband, Virgil Miller.

The happy couple appeared to have been touched by the kind gesture in the clip.

Oprah later had a bit of one-on-one time with baby Luca, and commented on the lovely blue shade of his eyes.

She also started talking to her friend’s grandson, and commented that she knew he ‘had been waiting’ to meet her. 

The media figure also made a point of kissing Luca’s hand during his arrival.

King previously announced that her grandson had been born during an episode of CBS Morning that aired this past September.

She had made it known to the public that she was expecting to become a grandmother in April.
