Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse, 30, took to Twitter this evening to express her surprise at The Masked Dancer’s Llama being unmasked as her friend and DJ Zoe Ball, 50. The star admitted that her mind was “blown” following the unmasking, especially as earlier in the day Oti had sat down with the blonde-haired radio personality to discuss the popular ITV show and which celebrities could be behind the masks.

One social media user expressed their shock at the dancer not being familiar with the DJ’s moves, as they’ve spent time together before.

They wrote: “Surprised @OtiMabuse did not get that, she’s sat on the strictly sofa so many times with her. #TheMaskedDanceruk

“She hid it so well Oti. I was well fooled.

They went on to applaud the star for her role on the panel: “You are doing a fabulous job again as usual. I hope you really enjoyed the excitement.”

Addressing the fan’s statement about being surprised, Oti expressed her agreement.

“EXACTLY!!!! Mind blown”, she added alongside an exploding head emoji.

This evening the ITV show saw two celebrities being sent home amid a double elimination.

Following Dancing on Ice judge Christopher Dean being unmasked, Zoe Ball, 50, was unveiled as the show’s Llama.

Her identity was guessed by her friend David Walliams and previously, Davina McCall.

After The Radio 2 Breakfast Show DJ was unmasked, a stunned Oti took to her Instagram in disbelief.

The judge wrote: “Here’s the gag: went on @bbcradio2 and @zoetheball interviewed me asking me all about it – ON THE SAME DAY!!!!

“And she knew and kept her cool”, Oti added.

Following her unmasking, the BBC star took to Instagram to address her stint on the ITV dancing show.

In view of her 590,000 followers, she wrote: “Whaaaat? It’s not @vicky.mcclure?!!

“There’s no foolin @dwalliams or my girl Nell. Had me sussed on episode 1!(sic)

“BEST TIME EVER on #TheMaskedDancerUk in stitches in britches. Will miss my furry hooved friend LLAMA.”

The DJ went on to thank host Joel Dommett and the show for having her.

She added: “Have loved the #secretsquirrelmission and watching at home.

“@davinamccall, @otimabuse, @mewossy and @mothecomedian top team. Amazing to hear everyone’s guesses on the radio.

“Sorry @iamrichieanderson i’m not @therealgerihalliwell… ps I don’t know who any of the others are EXCEPT a maybe KNICKERBOCKERGLORY hmmmmm.”

The Masked Dancer continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
