Alex Hollywood, soon to be ex-wife of Great British Bake Off star Paul, told OK! in an exclusive interview, she will be keeping her surname, despite their impending divorce.
“I am not divorcing my son so of course I am keeping my surname. I have been Alex Hollywood for 20 years so I am keeping it. 20 years is a long time and I have grown into that.
"Regardless of what people say, ‘oh she's used it for this or that’, I don't care it doesn't matter, it’s me I know who I am. I have come through everything and come out the other end. I am Alex Hollywood.”

Alex filed for divorce from Paul on the grounds of adultery two years ago and says she doesn’t want to go into great details and talk about it because the affair did break her marriage.
“There has been a lot of speculation and I have been asked a lot of times about his affairs and partially the affair that broke my marriage. I am getting a divorce and I have cited adultery and he has accepted it.
"There’s no two ways about it and it's really sad and I just want to put it to bed. The divorce is set to be finalised in 2020 and Alex says it’s coming to and end now but “there is always going speculation while things rumble on.”
As it’s still the beginning of a new year, Alex says she is ready to move on with her life.
“It’s now my time to shine, my time to come out and I’m not saying I don't wish him well, I really hope that he will find happiness I really do because it would be a lot better for everyone concerned."
When asked if she has any regrets Alex said she wouldn’t change a thing because she has her son Joshua.
“Would I have done anything differently? No. Every single thing I made a choice and I stick by it. I always believe to never regret anything.
"I made the right choice at the time which was to stay and at the end of the day you need to be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say have I done the right thing.”
Alex would love to release a new cookbook in the next year.
“I’d love to, perhaps in 2020/21. I have got recipes coming out of my ears, the thing is when you cook and when you love food, you don't actually cook by recipes you just tend to cook and think that's actually really nice.
"Some of the best recipes are done with whatever you have left in the fridge or cupboard.”
