Pete Davidson reportedly fell for girlfriend Phoebe Dynevor after watching her raunchy love scenes on Bridgerton.

The Saturday Night Live star, 27, is said to have told friends he thought the actress, 26, was ‘hot as hell’ over her character Daphne’s intimate scenes with The Duke of Hastings. 

A Los Angeles based friend of Pete’s told The Mirror: ‘Pete just loved Bridgerton and just got totally tripped out by Phoebe.

‘She was totally his type – fresh faced, youthful, innocent looking beauty. 

‘We all joked with him about the naughty scenes, and of course he confessed he found them hot. He binge watched the show and felt it was his destiny to meet her.’ 

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Pete Davidson for comment. 

Phoebe previously told how she had to skip through watching episode six of the series with her grandparents because of her on-screen antics.

She told Conan on TBS: ‘It’s episode six… episode sex! Episode six is the danger red light hazard warning. Because I watched it with my grandparents, we skipped episode six. It was a no go.

‘And there was a few before that as well , so I sat by the remote and fast forwarded the bits before episode six that are slightly down on the hairy side as well.

‘I had to give them a down low of episode six so they were all caught up and skipped all the bad parts.’

It comes after Pete was caught breaking Britain’s Covid quarantine laws while visiting his girlfriend.

The couple were pictured together for the first time on Sunday, with Phoebe showing her boyfriend around Stoke-on-Trent, where she is currently shooting new film The Colour Room.

MailOnline revealed that Pete only flew into London’s Heathrow Airport on Thursday evening, which means he should have been isolating until Tuesday at the earliest.

Passengers arriving in Britain from the US are required to quarantine at home for 10 days, though they can be released after five clear days, not counting the day they arrived, provided they test negative for Covid. 

In order to comply with rules, Pete’s quarantine would have begun on Friday and he would take a test no earlier than Tuesday – having to remain in quarantine until he received a negative result. 

The stroll was not their only outing of the day, as pictures later emerged of the duo at a supermarket in Greater Manchester taken on the Sunday morning.

They added: ‘We all joked with him about the naughty scenes, and of course he confessed he found them hot. He binge watched the show and felt it was his destiny to meet her’

A photographer who spotted him arriving at Heathrow from a Virgin flight on Thursday said the comic went out of his way to try and avoid being photographed as he walked through the Arrivals hall.

The comedian flew back to New York on Monday.

It’s the third time the couple are said to have met up in recent months.

In February, former Waterloo Road star Dyvenor, daughter of Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor, flew to New York City where he is based.

Although she didn’t share any pictures with Davidson, the Netflix star shared photos of Brooklyn on Instagram, as she penned: ‘Grateful I got to be here for a hot sec ❤️.’

Rumours of their romance took off last month when Pete was spotted out in Phoebe’s leafy hometown of Altrincham, Cheshire.

Meanwhile, an insider told People magazine: ‘Pete is telling friends he’s serious about [Phoebe]’, as they continued to visit each other on both sides of the Atlantic, while another source added the pair are ‘really into each other.’
