Talk TV’s Piers Morgan has taken a swipe at the US Embassy in Australia after they threw their support behind the Matildas in today’s Women;s world Cup Semi-Final against The Lionesses.

The Embassy posted an image of the team in a boat waving flags saying “Go Matildas” which Piers pithilly reposted in light of The Lionesses victory captioning it, “UPDATE: Boat sunk.”
