Pink was back on stage in Sydney on Saturday, resuming her Beautiful Trauma tour, after staying away for a week due to an upper respiratory infection.
“I wanna tackle all of you. Hope I didn’t screw up anybody’s week. Sorry if I did. But we’re gonna party tonight,” The Daily Telegraph quotes Pink as saying.
The singer showcased her aerial dance moves and performed several hits, including “So What,” “Just Like Fire” and “What About Us,” during the concert at Qudos Bank Arena.
Kate Perry and Hugh Jackman were at the concert, applauding Pink. Jackman posted on Instagram: “The amazing @pink One of the best concerts I have ever seen! And, she’s been sick all week. Inspiring.”
“Some people, if you can believe it, are even better in real life. This guy is one of those rare unicorns. and my daughter was damn happy too,” said Pink on Instagram.
She also posted a photo of her 7-year-old daughter Willow playing with Perry, and wrote, “Thank you @katyperry for coming to the show and for pretending to be a lizard with my girl:) we love you darlin’!”
Pink’s canceled Sydney concerts have been rescheduled to August 24 and September 17 through September 19.
