It’s time to party! Jesinta and Buddy Franklin, Pip Edwards, Simon Baker and the who’s who of Aussie celebs attend the glamorous Moët & Chandon Effervescence soirée in Sydney

There was no shortage of star power at the Moët & Chandon Effervescence event in Sydney on Wednesday.

A host of celebrities including Simon Baker, Pip Edwards, Ian Thorpe, Jesinta and Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, and Georgia Fowler turned out for the lavish event at Bennelong Lawn.

Pip, 41, led the celebrity arrivals, stepping out in a slinky red, black and white animal print dress, which she paired with strappy black stilettos.

The fashion designer rounded out her ensemble with a gold chain necklace and red handbag, and her bobbed blonde hair was worn in loose waves.

Posing for photos inside the star-studded event, Pip was flanked by a group of girlfriends, who she had arrived with. 

Simon, 52, looked handsome in a black suit, which he wore with a buttoned-up white shirt.

The model showed off her incredible post-baby figure just two months after giving birth to her daughter, Dylan.

Jesinta, 30, stepped out for the event alongside her AFL star husband, Buddy, with both opting for black.

The model donned a figure-skimming long dress, while her 34-year-old husband looked smart in a tuxedo.

The couple – who married in 2016 – enjoyed a tender moment on the red carpet, with Jesinta resting her hand on Buddy’s chest as they shared a laugh.

The 42-year-old radio personality was all smiles as he stood next to his wife, who stepped out in a long pink floral ’70s-inspired dress. 

The 39-year-old rounded out her ensemble with a small white handbag and dangly earrings, and her brunette hair was styled parted in the middle in an updo.

The 39-year-old retired Olympic swimmer was all smiles as he posed for photos ahead of the glamorous event. 

Also on hand at the event was Ksenija Lukich, who looked chic in a white cocktail dress with feather detailing around the sleeves.

Black appeared to have been the hue of the night, with Tahnee Atkinson also opting for the flattering colour.

Francesca Hung left little to the imagination in a sheer backless dress with turquoise beading.

The Sydney event was just the first in a long list of global events for the exclusive Champagne brand. 

More Moët & Chandon Effervescence events are set to follow in London, New York City, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Berlin and Mexico City.
