Now, however, it seems that Richard Osman may have asked a particularly important question.
The presenter and producer has sparked engagement rumours after he was seen out with his girlfriend Ingrid Oliver, who appeared to be wearing an emerald ring on her finger.
The couple, who reportedly started dating after a dinner party in summer 2020, were photographed – ring glinting – as they walked together in south-west London.
Comedian and actress Miss Oliver, 45, who had a regular role in Doctor Who, was wrapped up warm in a fur headband and long black coat.

The Pointless star, 51, and Miss Oliver are believed to have met years ago through mutual friends.
Osman has been candid about his relationship with Miss Oliver.
Speaking on Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs in December, he said: ‘I have been very lucky the last few years and I feel like I’m in a place that I want to be.
‘I’m happy with myself. I’ve got these beautiful kids, I’ve met the woman who I’m going to be with for the rest of my life, Ingrid.
‘The motivations of being younger have gone, competition and ambition.

‘You soon realise that rocket fuel disappears and it’s about happiness.

Osman, who also presents quiz show Richard Osman’s House Of Games, divorced his wife in 2007 and has two older children, Ruby and Sonny, with her.
Miss Oliver, who played scientist Petronella Osgood in Doctor Who and is the daughter of the Conservative MP Jo Gideon, has not been married before.
