Laura Whitmore has shown off a gorgeous new photo of her bare baby bump as she prepares to give birth.

The 35 year old is currently expecting her first child with husband Iain Stirling, 33, and has shared a number of photos of her blossoming bump during her pregnancy.

But for her latest snap, she has been joined by the other man in her life, her beloved dog Mick.

Love Island host Laura is seen enjoying a lay down in the image, which she shared with her 1.3million Instagram followers.

She showed off her baby bump by rolling up her black jumper and pushing her grey leopard print jogging bottoms beneath her stomach.

Next to her on the bed is her pedigree pal, whose white fur camouflages him against the white quilt.

Laura simply wrote alongside the upload: "Tip of the day: Small dogs make great back rests #mickpics."

Fans rushed to comment on the adorable photo, with one writing: "Mick senses the baby he will probably be v jealous when bubba arrives [sic]."

A second wrote: "What a perfect little bump. Beautiful," as a third chimed: "Ahhhhh Love him – he loves you & bump."

Laura's latest upload comes days after she attended a virtual baby shower alongside some of her best friends.

She took to her Instagram stories to share several snaps of her fun day over the weekend, where she was joined by husband Iain and Mick.

Laura first posted a photo of the set up, which was complete with a glitter background and a sign that said 'Baby Shower'.

The display was framed with several bunches of balloons in all different colours of yellow, green, blue, purple and pink, with two additional hot pink heart-shaped balloons on the side.

"On the desk, which had a bunch of gorgeous purple flowers sitting on top, Laura set up a ring light so her pals could have a crystal clear view of her.

Over this, she wrote: "Surprise zoom baby shower!! I have the best friends," with a lightning bolt emoji.
