Prince Charles' goddaughter hosts dinner party for Jennifer Aniston

‘Some very funny people!’ Prince Charles’ goddaughter India Hicks hosts lavish dinner party for Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and Jimmy Kimmel in the grounds of her Bahamas home as they holiday in the Caribbean

It’s not every day you invite three Hollywood stars round for dinner, but India Hicks had that rare privilege at her Bahamas home last month.

Hicks, a descendant of the Mountbatten family and Prince Charles’ goddaughter, hosted actors Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman along with presenter Jimmy Kimmel at the Caribbean property she shares with husband David Flint Wood.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the former fashion model, 54, shared photos from their visit to the picturesque island while giving fans an update on a more recent and arguably more eventful trip to Miami.

Captioning the post, Hicks – who moved to the Bahamas in 1996 – wrote: ‘This was a dinner we had a few weeks ago. It was a lot more fun than the past few days. A lot more fun, with some very funny people.’

The images included shots of former Friends star Aniston, 53, posing for photos alongside mother-of-five Hicks’ children – among them daughter Domino, 13, and sons Conrad, 19, and Amory, 23.

Hicks also shared photos of the lavish outdoor setting used to entertain her guests, with a large dining table decorated with watermelons and lemons set close to a cluster of palm trees on her property.

Other photos featured Bateman, 53, and Kimmel, 54, posing for selfies with the host and her family during the extravagant meal.

Hicks also admitted a subsequent trip to Florida’s principal city was no les memorable, albeit for the wrong reasons.

She wrote: ‘So I got to Miami, and I even got a new tooth but in the taxi on the way back to the airport my elderly driver lost his mind and swerved directly into the opposite lane very nearly killing us both and the other driver.

‘The other driver, understandably shaken, and livid, turned his car around and followed us, honking his horn, flashing his lights, shouting abuse, my driver now driving at speed took out his phone and with wrinkly arthritic fingers tried to make a call “Who are you calling?” I yelled from the back “the police” said the driver “I am reporting this crazy man.”‘

‘Because of so many cancelled flights it took me nearly a full day to get home, a journey that would normally only be a few hours. I sat in Dunkin’ Donuts for several hours before boarding the final tiny plane home.

”Time to spare, fly Pineapple Air’ For once this flight took off on time, the only issue was the cabin door did not seal properly, a rush of warm air filled the cabin as we took off. No one seemed to be at all alarmed that we were flying over the ocean with the door half open.’

She added: ‘Once on the ground the luggage was unloaded, everyone took their bags and departed. “My case isn’t here” I cried to the baggage handler, “Lady, everything was unloaded” he replied. Only then did I remember I hadn’t checked the damn bag. It must still be sitting in Dunkin’ Donuts.

‘I called the airport. A helpful someone went in search of the bag. “Nope nothing” she said when I called back. Someone somewhere must be enjoying a brand new pickle ball bat. And my menopause pills. Have fun with those whoever you are.’
