Prince Harry and Prince William, along with their wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, are doing something special for the holidays even though they won’t be spending it together this year.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been exchanging gifts this year long distance ahead of Christmas next week, People reports.
Meghan and Harry, with their young son Archie, have already sent a few gifts to Kate and William, and their own children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
The Sussexes will be spending the holiday in their new home in Montecito, Calif., while The Cambridges are still unsure about their plans of where they will be spending the holiday.
“It is so difficult. We are still trying to make plans,” William previously shared with reporters after wrapping up his Royal Train Tour with Kate. “It’s difficult to know what to do for the best.”
In the past, the two brothers and their families spent the holiday with their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and more of the royal family at Sandringham. Due to the pandemic this year, the Queen has chosen to remain at Windsor Castle.
