‘It’s Rob Exotica!’: Robbie Williams slips back into THOSE famous Rock DJ pants for hilarious Tiger King-themed workout with wife Ayda Field

They are the skimpy undergarments that made a racy cameo in the controversial music video for his 2000 pop hit, Rock DJ.

And Robbie Williams brought his two-decade old pants back into the spotlight with a modern twist as he took part in a hilarious Tiger King themed workout with wife Ayda Field on Tuesday.

The Angels singer, 46, whipped out the Tiger Print underwear for the ‘Netflix and Chill’ themed cardio session in the style of the smash hit Netflix documentary charting the lives of Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin and Doc Antle.

Introducing the Supermarket Sweat: The Tiger King edition workout, Ayda, 40, who showed off her toned frame in a grey jumper and leopard print leggings, said: ‘I couldn’t think of anyone better to join us than my number one Tiger,  my husband Robbie Williams AKA  Rob Exotica.’

Robbie, who was clad in a ‘Puppies make me happy’ tie-dye vest, black trousers, cow-boy boots and Stetson, then whipped off his joggers to reveal his scanty tiger print underwear.

Shouting ‘yee-ha!’ the star proceeded to do some hip thrusts while Ayda explained that she had ice-cream and oatmilk on hand for Robbie during their workout.

Taking the audience through the Tiger-King themed exercises to Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger, Robbie sultrily danced in the background as Ayda showed off her moves.

Making a joke about one of the documentary’s biggest talking points, Ayda said: ‘In America we have an ice cream flavour called Baskin-Robbins. But now I am calling this flavour Carole Baskin. Did she kill her husband or didn’t she? That’s the question.’

Robbie and Ayda were also waxing lyrical about their desire for ‘Doc’ hard abs in the video. 

The video comes after Robbie admitted he believes he had coronavirus symptoms while spending three weeks in isolation away from his wife and children.

The singer revealed that he felt ‘lethargic, tired and heavy’ while holed up in an Airbnb down the road from his family’s mansion in Los Angeles.

Robbie’s wife Ayda and their four children had been staying at home while the star kept his distance in temporary accommodation.    

Robbie also touched on the fact that he has been managing to stay out of ‘dark holes’ by keeping busy and looking after his mental health while in lockdown.

He told The Sun: ‘I was in quarantine in an Airbnb down the road from my family and started worrying about food, about my medication running out, about Beau and my family, and was just very fearful for a couple of days.   

Then I could feel my body was getting lethargic and tired and heavy and I convinced myself I’d got coronavirus.’

He went on to reveal that he believes his symptoms quickly disappeared, however he still kept his distance from his young family for three weeks before returning home.
