Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed son Cristiano Junior thinks he’ll be a better footballer than his dad.
But in true Cristiano style, the Juventus forward believes that will be "difficult".
Ronaldo’s eldest son, 8, has joined the youth team at Juventus after his dad’s move and recently scored his first goal for his new side.
The Portuguese forward has now revealed Cristiano Junior thinks he will be better than his dad, telling BeIn Sports: "I hope that Cris, my son, can be like his dad. He says he is going to be better (than me), but I think it’s difficult.
"I am very happy to have scored, for him too. He is playing for Juventus and adapting really well, it has been easier for him than for me."
Ronaldo, 33, has previously said his son "is very competitive, he is like me when I was young and he does not like to lose" in an interview with DAZN.
The former Manchester United man revealed to DAZN that his son "is fast, has skills and shoots well" but said the youngster will make his own decision on whether to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Ronaldo scored his first two goals for Juventus with a brace in his side’s 2-1 victory over Sassuolo and the Italian champions kick off their Champions League campaign away to Valencia tonight.
Ronaldo is quickly becoming one of the most clinical strikers at Juventus – but not the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Ronaldo Jr has been banging in goals for fun for Juve’s under 8 side.
Having crashed in FOUR goals on his debut for the Turin outfit’s, Ronaldo Jr found the net again on Saturday.
His step-mum Georgina Rodriguez caught the moment Ronaldo Jr, wearing the No.11 shirt, launched a stunning curling effort into the goal – with a technique reminiscent of his famous dad.
Ronaldo bagged twice at the Allianz Stadium to slightly outdo his son.
