Ronan Keating admits his ‘heart was beating out of his chest’ watching his son enter Love Island.
The former Boyzone star, 45, confessed to being ‘nervous as hell’ as Jack, 23, was introduced as one of six Casa Amor boys hoping to tempt the villa girls away from their partners.
Singer Ronan, who’s also a dad to Missy, 21, Ali, 16, Cooper, five, and Coco, two, said the entire family are tuning into Love Island to support Jack, after starring on the ITV2 dating series was something he ‘wanted to do.’

‘I won’t lie, I’ve been nervous as hell,’ confessed Ronan.
‘When I saw him walk into the villa my heart was beating out of my chest.
‘I’m excited for him though, this is something he wanted to do, and I’ll always support him and all my kids in their endeavours.
‘The house is not the same without him and his little brother and sister are missing playing with him every day but we’re tuning in every night to get our Jack fix and see where this adventure takes him.’

Ronan shares eldest child Jack with his ex-wife, Yvonne Connolly, 48, who’s also a mum to Missy, and Ali, from the couple’s 12-year marriage.
The Magic Radio Breakfast host has been with wife, Australian fashion designer, Storm Keating, 40, since 2010 and the pair have children Cooper and Coco together.
Jack was seen on Sunday’s Love Island getting to know Gemma, 19, whose father is England football legend, Michael Owen.
The new arrival told Gemma that he wouldn’t be attracted to a woman that isn’t family orientated, as the pair bonded over the closeness they share with their loved ones at home.

He said: ‘I work in social media marketing so I basically just sit on Instagram all day just hitting up influencers.
‘I moved up to London last year. My mum lives in Ireland, my mum and my little sister are big into show jumping, and I know you’re big into it.
‘My dad is a singer. Do you know Ronan Keating? That’s the old man.
‘I am very family orientated, my parents are separated, and my dad remarried five or six years ago. I live with my dad and my sister and his family now.
‘It would be something that I look for in a girl, someone that isn’t family orientated I’d be like… I’ve got a big, crazy family at home, so you best be ready for that.’

Jack entered Casa Amor alongside Deji Adeniyi, 25, Josh Le Grove, 22, George Tasker, 23, Samuel Agbiji, 22, and Billy Brown, 23, who are all hoping to turn heads.
The Dublin-born influencer confessed to being unlucky in love so far and hoped signing up to Love Island would mark the end of his dating woes.
He said: ‘I’ve been single now for a long time, probably four or five years now and I’ve really been missing that spark that I haven’t been getting on the dating scene.
‘I’ve been dating for a long time, and I just thought “why not?” Hopefully, I’ll get a connection with somebody and see what happens.’
