Roseanne Barr Says She’s Moving To Israel To Study After Racist Scandal

Roseanne Barr is quitting America to study in Israel.

The controversial 65-year-old comic – who was fired by ABC in May for making racial remarks – is ready to start again.

“I have an opportunity to go to Israel for a few months and study with my favorite teachers over there, and that’s where I’m going to go and probably move somewhere there and study with my favorite teachers,” she revealed.

Barr told her host it was a ‘great joy and privilege to be a Jewish woman.’

And she claimed that she had no hard feelings over The Conners replacement show.

“I’m not going to curse it or bless it,” Roseanne explained.

“I’m staying neutral. That’s what I do. I’m staying neutral. I’m staying away from it,’ she said. ‘Not wishing bad on anyone and I don’t wish good for my enemies. I don’t. I can’t. I just stay neutral. That’s what I gotta do.”

Barr is also looking to move on professionally too ­– she also revealed she’s cut a record in Nashville and is also working on creating a new sitcom.

While she continues to blame depression and mental health issues for her controversial behavior and states she does not like Hollywood.

As for the demise of her TV alter ego, she acknowledges that it’s been very hard to deal with.

“t was a death to me. The death of a character I created,” she said.

The comic likened former Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to the ‘Muslim Brotherhood and The Planet Of The Apes.’

Barr apologized and blamed taking the sleeping pill Ambien for her outburst.
