Ryan Phillippe, 47, enjoys some bonding time with his lookalike son Deacon, 18, at Michael Rubin’s 2022 Fanatics Super Bowl party in Culver City

Ryan Phillippe and his mirror image son Deacon were seen spending some quality time together as they kicked off their Super Bowl weekend.

The Cruel Intentions star, 47, and his doppelgänger, 18 – whom he shares with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, 45, along with daughter Ava, 22 – attended Michael Rubin’s 2022 Fanatics party in Culver City, California.

The father and son duo sported stylish laid-back outfits, and were happy to pose for photos together on the blue carpet.

The actor sported his usual relaxed style and wore a monochrome short-sleeve silk shirt that showcased his extensive arm tattoos.

He paired the look with grey jeans. On his feet he sported multi-color Gucci sneakers with the Italian fashion label’s classic print. 

He accessorized the outfit with a pair of black aviators, an Apple watch on his wrist, and a gold chain around his neck. 

His dark blonde hair was styled into loose curls with the help of gel.

Meanwhile Deacon rocked a plaid long-sleeve shirt which he left open, revealing a basketball jersey underneath.

The stylish offspring – who recently made his modeling debut in Beyonce’s Adidas collection, Halls of Ivy Park, along with his sister – paired the look with black jeans.

Taking notes from his dad, he also sported a pair of sports shoes, though his white sneakers were a bit less flashy. Deacon’s dark brown hair was perfectly coiffed into a gel-backed style.

Last year Ryan gave his opinion on the public’s perception that his son is a dead ringer for him.

In an interview with E! News he stated that Deacon looks more like his ex-wife’s family.

‘Obviously, there is a father–son resemblance, but he actually looks a lot more like Reese’s side of the family. Ava looks more like mine,’ he said.

That opinion might comes as a shock to some of his and Reese’s fans, as they regularly comment on how much alike Ava and her mother are when the pose together in social media photos. 

‘Quite often, the interpretation in the media is that she looks exactly like her mom and he looks exactly like me, but I think we both feel differently about it,’ he revealed. 

Phillippe and Witherspoon married on June 5, 1999, when she was six months pregnant with Ava. They went on to have Deacon in 2003.

Witherspoon filed for divorce on November 8, 2006, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause.
