‘Surreal experience’: Pregnant Sam Faiers has detailed the importance of staying ‘ahead of the game’ as she breaks into the health and well-being industry

Sam shared her excitement as her new skincare product hit the shelves in Boots this week, in what she described as a ‘surreal’ experience.

As Sam prepares to welcome her third child in the spring, she recalled her tough journey with ‘adult acne’ during her second pregnancy with her daughter Rosie which inspired her latest venture, Revive Collagen.

Following her own experience, Sam and her business partner began working on the product two years ago, before taking a ‘huge risk’ and launching in the middle of the pandemic.

For Sam, who quit her hit hit ITVBe show The Mummy Diaries last year, breaking into the world of health and fitness was something that she never saw coming, yet as time progressed the transition into the business ‘felt right.’

She admitted: ‘I’ve had a few businesses over the years that have been good, but moving into skincare, health and wellbeing, just feels right, but it is something that I never thought I would get into.

‘I’ve made so many mistakes and lost so much money in the past in other businesses, but I don’t regret any of it because it was all a stepping-stone to where I am today.’

Detailing her journey and the importance of setting goals, Sam, who made her TOWIE debut in 2010, explained:

‘I was taking each year as it came before I was on the telly, I was working in a bank and I always really enjoyed my job, I just thought I’d be in the city working in an office.’

‘I started realising how important it was to write down what I enjoyed about my job and what I didn’t like. It’s something that I have done consistently now for about 7 years.’

Following her diagnosis of Crohn’s disease in 2014, Sam admitted she began to focus more on her health and well-being in a natural way as she spoke about her holistic approach to health and detailed the importance of positive lifestyle changes.

She detailed: ‘When I was diagnosed, at a young age, I did think that there has got to be other ways to look after yourself.’

Love the skin your in: The reality star took to Instagram last year to share photos of her skin during a particularly bad flare-up and after treatment

‘I really enjoyed reading a researching about all the holistic ways, about what I put in my body. What we eat and drink but also what we watch and what we read that is all a part of it.’

‘At the time my social life was taking over, I was up and down the country and I was like “no, stop, you need to look after yourself.”

Revealing that she sets her alarm for 5:45am, Sam works to stay ‘ahead of the game’ when it comes to busy mornings with her children and get some much-needed time alone.

New venture: For Sam, breaking into the world of health and fitness was something that she never saw coming, yet as time progressed the transition into the business ‘felt right’

She said: ‘It’s really important, as a mum to have that hour to yourself in the morning before the kids get up, I’m sure everyone will agree with me, once the kids are up the whole house is chaos.’

‘What motivates me the most is the feeling, at the end of the day when you feel good and you have that energy about you, nothing can beat that feeling.’

When asked what’s in the pipeline, Sam said that she’s looking forward to launching a ‘one-of-a-kind, world-first’ product later this year and confessed her dream to work with a certain Latin American bombshell, who’s well known for her age-defying physique and gruelling workouts.

She revealed: ‘My big goal this year is to get Revive into the states, which is my biggest goal and not as easy as it sounds, but I have hopes.

‘Here we have Amanda Holden as our ambassador, but I’d love to get an American figure, I’m going to go high, I’d love to get Jennifer Lopez as our USA ambassador!’
