Selena Gomez designs her first fashion line for Coach

Selena Gomez and Coach want you to come and get it.

After being an ambassador for the brand since December 2016, starring in Coach’s ad campaigns and collaborating on a handbag range, the pop star is trying her hand at designing a full ready-to-wear capsule collection for the first time.

The fall collaboration will feature plush sweaters, lace-trimmed slip dresses, retro-inspired hoodies, two new handbags and a number of small accessories, all in an array of pastel hues.

Some of Gomez’s pieces include personal touches, like a handwritten message that reads, “Not perfect, always me.” Her 2017 line of bags featured similarly feel-good mottos like “To be you is to be strong,” and “Love yourself first.”

“I’m so proud of the collection,” the pop star said in a press release. “What I love most about working with the Coach team is that they just know how I dress. Everything felt authentic from the beginning.”

The brand’s creative director Stuart Vevers added, “I love working with Selena because she brings her strong point of view to the design process. I wanted all of the pieces to reflect her style and her charm — and to feel effortless.”

Pre-orders for the collection begin online and in stores on Aug. 14, and will be available in Coach stores globally starting Aug. 31.
