Jason Oppenheim, 44, opened up in a recent chat with Express.co.uk about being “excited” about his co-star Christine Quinn’s pregnancy. The Selling Sunset star also shared an update about her as they head into filming season four of the Netflix drama.
Christine announced her pregnancy back in February and has been sharing updates on her Instagram since.
Now her colleague on the hit reality show, Jason, has shared some insight into how she’s doing.
Speaking about the news, he said: “I mean I think it’s awesome.
“I’m excited to see how her life is gonna change and meet the kid too.
“I mean I just think that’s gonna be like a new phase in life and I’m sure it’ll be a good one.
“But I’m super excited for her.”
Jason then admitted how while they don’t speak all the time, she is “doing well”.
He added: “I mean, I don’t talk to her a tonne, you know, but when I’m filming I get to see her more.
“But I know she’s doing well, and she’s doing so many magazines.
“I think she’s still good with the press, so that’s fun to watch that.”
Selling Sunset has already been commissioned for a fourth and fifth season on Netflix.
However, Jason could not give away any details about when filming was starting.
Although he did tease how much he was looking forward to reuniting with his team.
He continued: “I mean we see each other a lot when we’re not filming but when we are filming we see each other even more.
“We’ve got I think closer and closer every season, not just because we’re such good friends but also because we’re sharing a common experience.
“It’s been a very bonding experience for many of us.”
Jason has also been busy with some other projects since the series last aired.
He recently gave a TEDx talk for his alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley all about his childhood and the route to success.
During this, the star opened up about getting into trouble as a youngster as well as how he got to where he is now.
Speaking about what inspired him, he explained: “I think that oftentimes when people see success, they think that it was just something that had always been there, and that that person had always been successful.
“And I think it’s important to just recognise that successful people are just people, some of them might have been successful their whole lives.
“Some of them might have had difficulties in their lives and they might have been from experiences similar to yours, you know whoever it is that’s looking or watching a TED talk.”
You can watch Jason’s TEDxBerkeley talk here. Selling Sunset seasons 1-3 are available on Netflix now.
