One Tree Hill star Shantel VanSanten’s actor husband files for divorce just 20 months into marriage… after THREE wedding ceremonies

 The husband of One Tree Hill star Shantel VanSanten has filed for divorce after just 20 months of marriage and a whopping three wedding ceremonies.

Her now estranged husband – fellow actor Victor Webster – made the filing to end the marriage with 37-year-old actress according to documents obtained by TMZ on Monday.

The 50-year-old Canadian actor made the filing back in January as the documents cited their date of separation as the 10th.

The two thespians do not have any children together and the reason for their separation is unclear as he checked the celeb-favorite ‘irreconcilable differences’ box.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the split couple is that they tied the knot in three separate ceremonies back in late 2021 which were highlighted by Brides at the time.

According to the publication, Victor had proposed on top of a mountain in February 2021 when they began planning two wedding ceremonies before circumstances caused them to add a third.

Their first ceremony took place in August of that year as they enjoyed an intimate courthouse wedding on the anniversary date of Shantel’s grandparents after her grandfather passed away.

She explained to Brides: ‘When my grandfather unexpectedly passed away on Father’s Day, the heartbreak was unbearable; I had been planning on him walking me down the aisle in Minnesota.

‘In the midst of my grief, I looked at Victor and said I wanted to do a spontaneous civil ceremony on my grandparents’ wedding date, August 9. The idea of my grandparents being reunited and watching over our ceremony from above gave me some peace. 

‘They were married for 63 years had such a special, deep love. They were the example to me of how love is a choice and takes work. It wasn’t perfect, but their love was always pure’

As if that already wasn’t enough the couple were joined by 48 friends and family for a ceremony in wine country Napa, California.

Last but not least came the third gathering in Shantel’s hometown of Luverne, Minnesota.

The theme of that wedding was vintage and prairie-inspired as she explained: ‘We wanted to blend into the nature around Blue Mounds Park.

‘The leaves on the trees were vibrant fall colors, so I wanted to play with those tones and let nature inspire the colors: dusty rose, mauve, blush, burgundy, beige, tan, caramel, and toffee.’

The duo met on set of 2017 TV film Love Blossoms and were just friends until their relationship took a romantic turn the following year.

Shantel is best known for portraying Quinn James on seasons seven through nine of One Tree Hill from 2009 to 2012.

She has also starred on television series including Shooter, The Boys, The Flash and For All Mankind and films including The Final Destination, You And I, Remembrance, and most recently American Murderer.

Victor has nearly 90 credits to his name including TV series Workin’ Moms and films The Scorpion King 4: Quest For Power, Surrogate, and Bringing Down The House.
