Shaun Ryder and Alison Hammond ‘clash’ backstage at Dancing On Ice after reuniting for the first time since butting heads on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Shaun Ryder had an unhappy Sunday after ‘clashing’ with Alison Hammond while supporting best friend Bez during the weekend launch of Dancing On Ice.
The Happy Mondays singer, 59, was in attendance at the show’s Buckinghamshire studio while his bandmate – real name Mark Cherry – took to the ice for the first time with professional skate partner Angela Egan.
But his appearance was reportedly overshadowed by a backstage clash with bubbly This Morning host Hammond, with whom he previously butted heads in 2010 while featuring on the tenth series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Hammond, 46, is understood to have made her feelings clear while cheering this year’s contestants on with fellow presenter Denise Welch, who featured on the show in 2011.
Speaking to the Daily Star, a source quoted her as telling him: ‘I never liked you. From the first minute I met you and spoke to you, I never liked you.’
Loose Women presenter Welch, the mother of The 1975 star Matt Healy, reportedly approached Ryder shortly after his clash with Hammond to establish what the problem was.

Appearing in the Bush Telegraph, the frazzled singer complained: ‘Oh more f**king people in the camp. And a loud person and a cheery person as well.

Despite his threat Ryder hung on to reach the I’m A Celeb final, where he narrowly lost out to winner Stacey Solomon, while Hammond finished in 10th place.
