Sir Mick Jagger has rubbished claims he and Harry Styles are alike, with the rocker insisting he was ‘much more androgynous’ earlier in his career.
The Rolling Stones star, 78, insists he is a fan of Harry but is adamant they do not sound alike and have a very different performance styles.
Musician Sir Mick told The Sunday Times: ‘I like Harry — we have an easy relationship. I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. Come on, I was much more androgynous.

‘And he doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that.’
Sir Mick, who has been a member of the Rolling Stones since they first formed in 1962, was known for his flamboyant sense of style earlier in his career.
The performer would often wear make-up and brightly coloured clothes on stage.

Meanwhile, former One Direction star Harry, 28, is known to wear flamboyant attire while performing too.
It comes as Harry was named on The Sunday Times Young Rich List with an estimated worth of £100million.
The pop star ranks eighth, up two places from last year, while he has also placed as a new entry at 37 on the Music Millionaires list.

Sir Mick ranked in the top 10 of the Music Rich List with an estimated worth of £318million.
Elsewhere, Sir Mick and his Rolling Stones co-star Keith Richards (£303 million) were listed in sixth and seventh places, respectively on the main Rich List.
