Stacey Dooley warned Kevin Clifton 'has commitment issues' after three marriages

Kevin first tied the knot aged 20 with an unnamed dancer, although his first wife is rumoured to be his former partner Anna Melnikova.

However, she left him after three years of marriage when Kev decided to turn away from competitive dancing.

He told the Mail Online: ‘We got to a stage where we were at the top of our game but we hadn’t won a world championship. We were approached and told that if we paid the right people, took certain classes with certain pro teachers, we would be guaranteed the title. It would cost more than £10,000 in all and I just felt somewhere it had all gone wrong.

‘My parents believed we could win without it, but I wanted to walk away from the whole thing. I fell out of love with it. My wife divorced me because it was her life. I fell into depression because everything I’d put my life into had burst apart.’

When Kevin was 24, he married dancer Clare Craze, but he split from her three years later, saying the marriage was part of his ‘rebellion’.

Kevin’s third wife was dancer Karen Clifton, who he married in 2015. However, last March, the Strictly stars confirmed their separation.

Stacey was in a relationship with Sam Tucknott when she competed on Strictly as Kevin’s partner; however, they split up after the competition and three years together.

Sam broke the news that his journalist ex is dating Clifton, telling The Sun that he found a message on Stacey’s phone from the dancer reading ‘I love you’.

He added that Stacey hadn’t started ‘entertaining’ Kevin until their relationship ended.
