Stormy Daniels backed out of the UK’s “Celebrity Big Brother” at the last minute because she didn’t want anyone telling her how to act.
The porn star’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, told us at Monday night’s VMAs that Daniels was “really looking forward to being on the show,” but, “Unfortunately when she showed up, she learned that ‘Big Brother’ wasn’t as reality as she thought it was. It became clear to her that they weren’t going to let her say what she wanted to say and be who she is. And nobody’s going to tell Stormy Daniels how to conduct herself.”
She had been scheduled to enter the “Big Brother” house with a dozen other celebrities last Thursday.
As for whether Daniels would do reality TV in the future, Avenatti said she might consider it but she isn’t “entirely enthusiastic about the entire format.”
“Celebrity Big Brother’s” broadcaster Channel 5 previously denied accusations that producers tried to “control” Daniels, and told the BBC: “Five hours before the live show, Stormy informed us that she wished to simply appear on launch night and then leave.”
Avenatti was at the awards show encouraging young people to get out and vote. Page Six exclusively revealed that he would attend MTV’s big night.
