Kate Silverton, Katie Piper, Ashley Roberts and Susannah Constantine led the celebrity contingent at day two of the Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals on Wednesday.

The female stars of the 2018 line-up looked delighted as they followed the professional dancers into the studio to learn their group dances, ahead of the show’s launch on August 31.

Newsreader Kate Silverton, 48, sported rollers in her hair and a relaxed smile as she headed inside, clad in a chic black vest top, joggers and silver pendant necklace.

Nearly showtime: (L-R) Katie Piper, Ashley Roberts and Susannah Constantine joined their fellow celebs at the dance studio to hone their group performances.

Her caramel flecked crop and her pretty features were enhanced with a radiant dusting of make-up.

Presenter and motivational speaker Katie, 34, showed off her gym-honed frame in a pastel pink vest top and stylish black leggings as she prepared to take to the dancefloor once more.

Her blonde tresses were styled in a stylish half-updo and she sported a chic smoky eye for the rehearsal session.

Former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, 36, brought the glamour as she slipped into a pink and green camouflage shirt, worn over a dove grey crop-top which teased at her toned abs.

Completing the ensemble with monochrome trainers, she swept her tresses into a half updo and accentuated her pretty features with a light dusting of make-up.

EastEnders star Charles Venn  and Susannah were the final stars to be named as part of the Strictly Come Dancing line-up, joining celebrities Katie, Piper, Ashley Roberts, Lee Ryan, Faye Tozer, Danny-John Jules, Seann Walsh, Joe Sugg, Stacey Dooley, Graeme Swann, Dr Ranj Singh, Vick Hope and Lauren Steadman.

Katie was confirmed as the first celebrity to join this year’s Strictly and revealed her hopes of taking to the dance floor with handsome hunk, Giovanni Pernice.

Tragedy hitmaker Faye, 42, appeared relieved to finally lift the lid on the news as she admitted she was forced to lie to friends and family, while the Red Dwarf actor, 57, confessed he was ‘nervous’ about the upcoming stint.   

YouTube star Joe Sugg, 26, was the fourth celebrity set to join, and is also the brother of internet superstar Zoella.

Announcing the news, Strictly’s Twitter account put out a post which read: ‘He’s swapping the Sugg life for the #Strictly life, and YouTube for dancing shoes… Welcome Joe Sugg to our 2018 line-up!’    

England cricket star Graeme Swann said he is looking forward to performing in front of an audience again, saying he hopes the pressure will remind of being on the field at the height of an Ashes series.

    This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh was confirmed as the seventh star to join the line-up and announced the news during the end of Thursday’s episode of the hit ITV chat show in a dramatic reveal – after giving medical advice earlier on.

    After teasing viewers throughout the episode, presenters Ruth Langsford – who competed on the 2017 series, and Eamonn Holmes, finally revealed that their fellow co-star Dr Ranj would be competing in the 2018 series – as he spun around in a silver ‘glitter ball’ style chair.  

    Stacey Dooley was confirmed as the eighth star to join this year’s Strictly Come Dancing lineup, with the 31-year-old TV presenter gushing that she couldn’t wait to ‘become a dancing genius.’

    Stacey has been the presenter of numerous investigative documentaries for the BBC, and was awarded in MBE earlier this year for services to broadcasting.

    Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts, 36, defended her signing to Strictly after backlash from fans over her professional dance background.   

    Appearing on Chris Evans’ Radio 2 breakfast show hours after the signing, Ashley hit back at the criticism, saying: ‘The Latin and Ballroom world is foreign to me.’

    Before her defensive response, users swarmed Twitter to pen: ‘That’s not fair – she is a trained professional dancer!!! I like her loads but totally in fair to the other contestants!…  

    ‘Wasn’t she a judge on another dancing show???… I don’t agree with this one she’s a trained dancer!… I don’t agree with this one she’s a trained dancer!’ 

    Kate Silverton and Seann Walsh became the tenth and eleventh stars to join the lineup and were announced during Friday’s edition of The One Show.

    Seann admitted he was looking forward to taking on a new challenge, but also admitted he even surprised himself in saying yes to the show.

    The stand-up comic said: ‘It’s just something that I and no one I know would expect me to do. Everyone looks like they’re having so much fun on it. It makes me laugh every time I imagine doing it.’

    As well as touring the country with his comedy shows Seann is also a regular feature on shows such as Virtually Famous and Play To The Whistle.

    Lee Ryan was officially confirmed as a participant during Monday’s episode of ITV’s Loose Women on Monday afternoon.

    Speaking to the panel after his big reveal, Ryan revealed his nerves after being approached, but that he was excited to start training.

    Lauren Steadman was the 14th star named for the line-up during The One Show on Monday.

    The Paralympic silver medallist, 25, is a double World Champion Paratriathlete and six-time European Champion, who was born missing her lower right arm.  

    The programme is set to begin later this month and the launch show will be filmed at the end of August.

    It will be the first time viewers will see the celebs dance with their professionals in a group dance. 

    This year marks the first series without professional dancer Brendan Cole since the show’s creation in 2004 and will see the addition of three sizzling new dancers. 

    Graziano Di Prima, 24, Johannes Radebe, 31, and Luba Mushtuk, 28, will take to the coveted Strictly dance floor for the first time, with each of them more than qualified for the job.

    Occupation: Comedian 

    Claim to fame:  Seann is one of the UK’s most beloved comedians, and along with touring the country is a regular on shows Virtually Famous and Play To The Whistle.

    Occupation: Steps singer

    Claim to fame: Faye was one of the stars of legendary 90s band Steps from 1997 to 2001. The group reunited in 2017 for an anniversary tour, with their comeback album
