Tamzin Outhwaite reportedly saved three children from drowning in an outdoor pool at a seven-year-old’s birthday party on Monday in North London.
The quick-thinking former EastEnders actress, 50, plunged into the water fully-clothed ‘without a second’s doubt’ before the other parents could react, as she rescued the children who were all under 10-years-of-age.
One witness told The Sun following the incident: ‘Tamzin is a hero. She leapt into the water without hesitation. It was very dramatic.

‘Without a second’s doubt she entered the pool and plucked the youngest child to safety, before grabbing the other two.
‘There were a couple of doctors at the party who checked the kids were OK and gave them a clean bill of health. But it left many people shaken.’
The source continued to praise mum-of-two Tamzin’s quick reactions, saying she was the first to jump in and help the youngsters.
They added that the actress, who played Mel Owen in the BBC soap, had reacted ‘so fast’ that the three children were ‘all safe’ by the time anybody else had reached the pool.

Another bystander called the actress a ‘superstar’ and a ‘legend’ as they praised her down-to-earth attitude.
They also said ‘who knows’ what could have happened if she hadn’t spotted the children were in trouble, adding that it ‘doesn’t bear thinking about’.

And the TV personality revealed in March that Tom, 42, who lives in LA, hasn’t seen their two children in six months because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The EastEnders actress took to Twitter to reveal that her daughters are ‘bursting with happiness’ and ‘counting down the days’ until they can see their dad.

She enthusiastically told her followers: ‘From tomorrow we can see friends outside!!!
‘But for the happiness of my kids, I am most excited that they get to see their Dad soon, who they haven’t seen since last August.
‘They are bursting with excitement & counting down the days,’ she revealed.

Tom is currently living in America with his now wife Meaghan Oppenheimer while he films Lucifer.

But soap star Tamzin said in a 2015 interview with Essentials Magazine that there was more to the split than just an act of infidelity.

While the star recently took part in The Masked Dancer, finishing in fourth place after being unmasked as Scarecrow.
