The Cabins: A gay murder mystery actress searching for an Emma Watson lookalike, an international beauty queen and a bin man. Meet the twelve sexy singletons preparing to move in together on their first date for ITV2’s new reality show
While 2020 started with the first ever winter series of Love Island, 2021 will see a new dating show hit ITV2.
The Cabins will air weeknights from January 4, and while there’s no sun-drenched island for the singletons to matchmake on, the premise promises plenty of drama and sizzling singletons.
Nestled together in their intimate cabins, the 12 singletons will have quality time to really get to know their date as they move in together on day one.
Ready, set, date! While 2020 started with the first ever winter series of Love Island, 2021 will see a new dating show hit ITV2. The Cabins will air weeknights from January 4 (pictured (L-R) , singletons Sarah, 26, and Charlotte, 29)
Viewers will be able to follow all the antics and find out if the sparks fly or quickly fizzle out. Having made it through the first 24 hours they then have to decide if they would like to spend more time together – or call it a day and walk away.
The 12 singletons looking for love have been unveiled by ITV2 ahead of the debut episode on Sunday night. Unlike Love Island, The Cabins includes both gay and straight contestants.
Sarah, 26, is a waitress and murder mystery actress from Blackpool, looking for a ‘nerdy, book worm type’ like her celebrity crush Emma Watson.
‘I’ve dated men, but not a lot. Primarily I’m women, but if I fall for a guy, I’ll give them a chance. I do classify myself as lesbian,’ she explains, adding a warning that she has been known to have a wandering eye.

Couple goals? Footballer Mamudo, 23 (left), and from Liverpool could find his ideal match in Chelsea fan Robyn (right), 26, who would love to find someone as passionate about football as her, but she’s cautious about falling for a non-Chelsea fan
‘I did get screamed at once on a date as I looked at the waitress and got caught…’ she reveals of her worst ever date.
Sarah looks set to be matched with Charlotte, a 29-year-old operations manager from Stafford who reveals she’s only been dating women for 18 months.
‘I feel like I’m still learning my type,’ she says, but her preference for ‘more alternative girls,’ with tattoos and piercings could make her the perfect match for inked Sarah.
‘My friends would probably say I’m picky. But I just feel like I meet people and they’re a certain way for like a month and then they just change completely and it’s not fun anymore. she adds of her ideal woman.’
Meet the singletons: Holly (left) works for cabin crew as well as being a make-up artist and influencer. Abraham is a student from London hoping to find love in the intimate setting
‘I was engaged to a guy, so I feel like I’ve been through so much c**p that I don’t want to take that again. So if I see a red flag, I’ll just call things off straight away. I’d rather wait and keep looking for the best person than settle with anybody who could be good for me. I want someone who could be amazing for me.’
Elsewhere footballer Mamudo, 23, and from Liverpool could find his ideal match in Chelsea fan Robyn, 26, who would love to find someone as passionate about football as her, but she’s cautious about falling for a non-Chelsea supporter.
‘I’ve dated a few Man U fans before and it just does not work out. You’d think it would be good to have that banter and rivalry. But if they’re really die hard fans and they get really passionate about it – and I’m passionate – then we just clash.’
