TOWIE's Demi Sims reveals she's had her fillers dissolved

‘No more duck lips!’: TOWIE’s Demi Sims reveals she decided to get her fillers dissolved after realising that ‘natural is the way forward’

Demi Sims has spoken of her delight at having her lip fillers dissolved, after deciding that looking natural ‘was the way forward.’

The Only Way Is Essex star, 25, said she made the decision to get her ‘duck lips’  reduced, and now even questions why she used filler in the first place.

Demi told The Sun: ‘I’m so happy I’ve had my lips dissolved.

‘I was waiting over a year for them to dissolve naturally and they weren’t dissolving so I had to get them physically dissolved and it’s the best thing I’ve done, no more duck lips.

‘I look back at my pictures now and I just think what was I doing. I just think more natural looking is the way forward.’

Demi first unveiled her thinner lips in December moving her coat away from her mouth to reveal her natural look, miming in a TikTok video: ‘I look quite pretty.’

All change: Demi showed off her natural look on TikTok after having her lip filler dissolved in December (left) before having them refilled two days later (right)

On Instagram, the TOWIE star shared before-and-after shots of her filler removal and gushed she was ‘so happy’ with the results.

She wrote: ‘Good morning, so I’ve had all of my lip filler dissolved, I haven’t had my lips done for a year and half because I was waiting for them to dissolve naturally but it was taking ages!

‘So I decided to get them dissolved and now these are my natural lips. I’m so happy.’

Changing faces: Demi’s decision came after her TOWIE co-star Bobby Norris, and Georgia Harrison all had their fillers dissolved

However, just two days later, Demi unveiled a fuller pout, with an over-exaggerated cupid’s bow.

Taking to social media the star shared videos of herself, flaunting her new, Russia lip filler.

The Russian technique accentuates the cupid’s bow to resemble a heart-shape by injecting additional volume and lift into the centre of the lips.

Thousands of men and women have also reversed the cosmetic procedure, a trend started by Molly-Mae Hague in October 2020.

Before and after (L-R): Thousands of men and women have also reversed the cosmetic procedure, a trend started by Molly-Mae Hague in October 2020

The social media star admitted during her interview on The Diary of a CEO podcast that she didn’t recognise herself by the time she reached the age of 21, having had a variety of cosmetic procedures done.

The business women had her lip and jaw filler dissolved and her composite bonding veneers removed, saying she’s ‘terrified of myself’ when she looks at past pictures.

She said: ‘I wouldn’t say I got addicted to it, but by the age of 21, I didn’t look like the same person.

‘I literally looked like a different person. When I look back at pictures now, I’m terrified of myself. I’m like, “Who was that girl?” I don’t know what happened.

‘But there was this one pivotal moment where I’d gone and got loads of filler and I posted a YouTube video and I hadn’t let the filler settle and it was really swollen and a screenshot from that video, it trended on Twitter for weeks.

‘It was horrendous. It was utterly horrendous. My face was literally like, it was just awful. That was the moment for me as well where I was like, I think things need to change.

‘I thought, one day I’m going to get my lips dissolved. It was a process. I went and got my lips dissolved and I posted about it on YouTube and I didn’t expect the response that I got. It was huge.’

Tweaks: The Love Island star told how a woman was ‘crying her eyes out’ because she was so pleased about the effect her filler removal had on her children (pictured with filler in 2019)
