‘I want sex more than ever before’: Ulrika Jonsson, 53, admits her libido has boosted with age as she reveals plans to pen a steamy novel
Ulrika Jonsson has admitted that she wants ‘sex more than ever’ at 53 and plans to write more erotic scenes in her new book.
The presenter plans to include sex scenes in her upcoming novel after she left them out of her 2011 book The Importance Of Being Myrtle.
She said that she decided not to include the racier moments of Myrtle’s new love life, after her husband suddenly dies when she is 56, because ‘sex might not be at the forefront’ of her mind.
Cheeky! Ulrika Jonsson has admitted that she wants ‘sex more than ever’ at 53 and plans to write more erotic scenes in her new book
Writing in The Sun, Ulrika documented that now she had nearly reached the age of her protagonist, she realised that she wanted sex more than she had before.
She said: ‘The point is that as I was writing the novel, I debated whether I should include sex scenes as Myrtle is unshackled and set free. In the end I decided not to.
‘There were two fundamental reasons — first, to my disgrace and utter shame, I felt that at 56 sex might not be at the forefront of Myrtle’s mind. I am now a 53-year old woman and want more sex than ever before. So, my bad.’

Ulrika added that she also excluded the steamy scenes from her novel due to the difficulty of writing about intimate moments.
She said: ‘But second, and perhaps more poignantly, writing sex scenes can be tricky. A lot of accounts of “sexy time” are, in my opinion, singularly awkward, appalling, are misplaced and often don’t even make sense.’
Ulrika’s steamy comments come after she was forced to hit back at a troll after they criticised her for having ‘four children with different fathers’.
She is a mother to Cameron, 26, with first husband John Turnball, Bo, 21, with ex Markus Kempen, Martha, 16, with ex-husband Lance Gerrard-Wright and Malcolm, 12, with her third ex-husband Brian Monet.
Taking to her Instagram Story last week, Ulrika branded the social media user an ‘a**ehole’ and joked there was ‘another Karen amongst us’, which is a term used in meme culture for a ‘self-righteous’ woman.
The troll had commented on a recent picture of Ulrika, which she shared on Mother’s Day, and cruelly criticised the star’s family set-up.

They said: ‘4 children… all with different fathers…. such a mixed up world we now live in…’
Ulrika was quick to call out the troll as she shared their comment on her Instagram Story and added: ‘We have another Karen amongst us.
‘You know the ones with 2 followers and an a**hole for a mouth #byefelicia.’
Karen is a term typically used to describe a ‘self-righteous woman’ and it has become popular in meme culture while ‘Bye, Felicia’ was coined by Ice Cube in the 1999 film Friday as a cold way to say goodbye to someone.
