There’s never a dull moment on the transfer front at Manchester United.
After a seemingly uncomfortable season between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba last season – there are now rumours the Frenchman could be on the brink of leaving Manchester United before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
Reports in Italy suggest the Red Devils have rejected a bid of £45million plus Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina from Barcelona for the midfielder.
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is reportedly desperate for his man to leave Old Trafford and the clutches of Mourinho.
The former Juventus midfielder is apparently furious at his current boss for his take on his performances at the World Cup.
Pogba helped France to glory in Russia – but that didn’t stop Mourinho seeming to question why he was turning in stronger displays for his country than his club.
And with Pogba now rumoured to be on the brink of a departure from Old Trafford before the window slams shut – United fans are pointing the finger firmly at the manager.
