Vanessa Bryant and daughter Natalia Bryant stun in new BVLGARI campaign that highlights their incredible bond: ‘We connect on a whole different level’
In March, Vanessa Bryant spoke out about the unimaginable pain and her journey through grief, following the deaths of her husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna ‘Gigi’ Bryant.
And almost two months after her candid interview, Vanessa stepped in front of the camera with her daughter, Natalia Bryant, for an incredibly sweet short film for Bulgari and Vogue in honor of Mother’s Day.
The star, 38, and Natalia, 18, looked stunning in the video and images for the campaign called A Mother’s Legacy.

The campaign, from BVLGARI X Vogue Magazine, was in honor of Mother’s Day, which takes place in the US on Sunday, May 9.
The minute long video kicks off with Vanessa and Natalia looking away from the camera before turning toward it, with the teen heard saying: ‘People may not remember what you said or what you did, but they’ll remember how you made them feel.’
The gorgeous mother-daughter duo were then seen sitting in an outdoor patio as they chatted and talked about their unbreakable bond and what they admire most about each other.
Vanessa and Natalia both donned black ensembles with their locks loose and minimal makeup, showcasing their stunning features.

Vanessa beamed lovingly at Natalia as her teen daughter said: ‘That’s the lesson I’ve carried throughout my life.’
Adding: ‘You’re the strongest person I’ve ever known. We connect on a whole different level and I feel like that’s rare in mother-daughter relationships.’
Vanessa said to Natalia: ‘I wish I had someone like you when I was growing up. You’re like the constant North Star to all of your friends…’

Natalia hugged mom Vanessa as they showcased the glittering jewels from the collection.
‘I think the way you go about life and how you always look for the positive side in any situation… you taught that to me at a young age and I always carry that with me,’ Natalia says.
The duo laugh and share another hug this time outside in a garden.
‘You always try to find the goodness in people and in every situation so I admire that,’ Vanessa adds.

Natalia recently announced her decision to go to the prestigious University of Southern California.

Kobe and Gigi died January 26, 2020 in a helicopter crash; he was 41 and she was 13.
In March, Vanessa has spoken out about the unimaginable pain – as well as her journey through grief and resilience – following their deaths.
She opened up about how she has coped with the loss by focusing on ‘finding the light in darkness,’ she said in the People magazine cover story.

Vanessa said some days are harder than others, with the pain bringing her to her knees: ‘I can’t say that I’m strong every day. I can’t say that there aren’t days when I feel like I can’t survive to the next.’

For the cover, Vanessa wore a Lakers varsity jacket with Kobe’s numbers – 24 and 8 – on each sleeve.
The People magazine issue shines a light on Women Changing the World, with Vanessa being one of them.
She took charge of his unfinished creative projects at his multi-media Granity Studios, which she now runs.
Vanessa also re-launched his non-profit and renamed it Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation – in honor of both Kobe and Gigi.

He told the outlet: ‘Physical attributes aren’t there the way they used to be, but the maturity level is greater. Marriage, kids. Start having a broader perspective being one of the older guys on the team now, as opposed to being the youngest. Things evolve. ESPN noted that the two jersey numbers serve as chapters to his career with the him scoring almost the same amount of points in each. As number 8, he scored 16,777 points and as number 24, he scored 16, 866 points.
He went on to win five NBA Championships with the Lakers over his 20-year career; he played his last game on April 13, 2016 before his retirement.
His jerseys 8 and 24 were both retired by the Lakers in 2017.
