Vanessa Bryant remembered her late husband Kobe Bryant on social media as she marked her second Valentine’s Day since his tragic passing at age 41.
The photo showed the former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard holding his wife during the early days of their relationship.
The 38-year-old widow of the basketball legend also wrote a short message in the caption for the post to mark the holiday and reassure her followers that she was still very much in love with her deceased husband.

The message read, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day Boo-Boo. I love you for now, forever and for always.’
In the photo, the athlete wore a plain white t-shirt, which contrasted with his wife’s graphic printed black shirt.
The social media personality was also seen wearing a pair of fake rabbit ears on top of her flowing brunette hair.
Vanessa also shared a photo of him giving her a bouquet of roses from 2000.
The former couple met in 1999 during a video shoot for the rap group Tha Eastsidaz; Vanessa was working as a backup dancer at the time.

Two years after their marriage, the Bryants welcomed their first daughter, whom they named Natalia, currently aged 18; her birth resulted in a reconciliation between the basketball player and his parents.
They went on to expand their family with second daughter named Gianna, born in 2006.

The cause of the crash was recently revealed to have stemmed from an error made by the aircraft’s pilot.

Nearly a year after her husband’s death, Vanessa made a post to her Instagram Story to give her followers insight into how she processed his passing.
She began her message by writing, ‘Let me be real — Grief is a messed up cluster of emotions.’
The dancer continued, ‘I want to say this for the people struggling with grief and heartbreaking loss. Find your reason to live.’
The athlete’s widow finished her message by telling her fans that, ‘Death is guaranteed, but living the rest of the day isn’t.’
