Captioning her powerful post, she penned: ‘Social media can often be misleading… After nothing more than a quick scroll through Instagram it can convince you that everyone has the perfect body, no one ever takes a bad picture, everyone’s skin is perfectly smooth and they all have their sh*t together…

‘I’d like to think I show both sides of the coin on my Instagram… but after a little flick through this morning I realised there were probably far too many carefully curated glam shots and fancy ads.

‘So here is some of my reality- a reality that I am not only not ashamed of, but f**king proud of.’

Vicky, who often promotes body positivity continued: ‘I am 35, I have wrinkles, cellulite, dimpled skin, tummy rolls, absolutely NO lips compared to everyone else on here it seems and double chins… I have good angles and bad, I have good days and bad… and none of this makes me any less of a good person or less deserving of self love.

‘Don’t get too hung up on the ‘perfect’ side of social media, don’t let those images effect how you see yourself and your self worth- because behind every single one of those glam shots were a million more like this…

‘That society has tried to tell us are in some way less desirable but if you ask me, there’s far more beauty to be found in the real, in the raw… So be kind to yourself today and everyday for that matter.’

‘Don’t let Instagram and all of its bullshit convince you otherwise.. Don’t let it change you- you’re YOU… and that is your super power.’

Back in August, Vicky shared another body positivity message while sharing snaps from her getaway to Croatia.

She shared a holiday snap of herself posing in a brown bikini  alongside a candid picture in her underwear, while posting a lengthy body positivity message.

Truth: Vicky often shares stunning bikini snaps to Instagram, but the star was keen to emphasise that she doesn’t always look this way (pictured last month)

In the first snap, Vicky sported a glam makeup look. Meanwhile in the second photo, she beamed and went makeup free.

The natural beauty penned: ‘Same girl, same body, same self worth… This is not a ‘before and after’, not a transformation pic, not a desperate attempt to flog some wonder product. This is just a little reminder that all bodies move, fluctuate and can look slightly different from one day to the next and that doesn’t make them any less beautiful or deserving of love♥️

‘In this first picture I’m spray tanned, wearing a lush bikini, breathing in (obvs) and have planned my angles and body shape meticulously! But in the second, my spray tan has seen better days, I’m wearing my fave nude undies from Marks and Sparks which are definitely designed more for comfort that fashion or seduction and I’m just letting it all hang out!

Wow! Back in August, Vicky shared another body positivity message while sharing snaps from her getaway to Croatia.

‘I love social media but I always say the big problem with it is that it’s made ‘perfect’ seem normal and no one is interested in normal anymore! Which feels like such a shame as I LOVE normal!

‘I get so much joy from lovely, nice and normal. Whether it’s doing the food shop, walking the dog, having one nail missing or having a squishy tummy… I embrace normal.

The media personality added: ‘It’s normal to have lumps and bumps, skin texture, tiger stripes, stretch marks, cellulite and rolls.. So regardless of what you see on social media today- don’t let it change how you see yourself, how you feel about your own body and never EVER let it take some of your sunlight…

‘Because as we’ve established… most of what you see online is a load of shite anyway. Have a great day everyone.’

Having her say: The natural beauty penned an important message: ‘Same girl, same body, same self worth…’
