Victoria Beckham unveils her new ‘everyday’ sportswear range with Reebok that boasts a £179 hoodie and £35 SOCKS

Victoria Beckham unveiled her latest ‘everyday’ sportswear range as the latest addition to her fashion empire.

The designer, 46, has joined forces with Reebok for the ‘high performance’ fitness collection, with items including a pair of socks for £35 and a hoodie for £179.

Victoria’s latest launch comes after it was revealed that the cosmetics arm of her fashion brand launched with an ‘incredible’ profit timeline, with MailOnline revealing in February she earned £1.9 million in the first three months.

According to the Reebok website, Victoria’s range features a hoodie that has a ‘luxe’ finish with is ‘garment-washed’ for a ‘super-soft’ feel, with a price tag to match at nearly £180.

It also states that the socks, which are priced at £35, ‘combine functional design with a contemporary aesthetic.’

The range also boasts a pair of seamless black leggings for £89, £109 trainers and £65 gloves.

It’s not the first time Victoria has joined forces with Reebok, as back in August Kim Kardashian praised the former Spice Girl after she was gifted a selection of pieces from her range including a $565 tracksuit.

In February it was revealed that Victoria Beckham Beauty – the cosmetics arm of the fashion designer’s brand – launched with ‘incredible’ success, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The mother-of-four started trading Victoria Beckham Beauty in October 2019, releasing a new product every month, featuring the likes of lipstick, mascara and serum.

And within the last quarter of that year, revenue for those three months came to £1.9 million.

A source told MailOnline: ‘The launch has been very successful – and there are many sell out products.

‘And the launch to profit timeline is actually incredible particularly considering the pandemic. The business has broken even in 2020 too.’

The brand is an extension of the Spice Girl’s Victoria Beckham designer clothing range which was launched in 2008 and, in the latest financial year, reduced a string of losses for the first time in seven years, by £500,000.

It comes after Victoria took home more cash from music than from her fashion empire over the past tax year – despite not touring with her Spice Girls bandmates.

The singer-turned-designer’s music company Moody Productions brought in £3.3 million in the tax year ending December 2019.

While Victoria opted to sit out the last Spice Girls tour in 2019, she still raked in almost £1 million, as she was entitled to one-fifth of the takings for endorsements and deals generated by the tour, reports The Sun.

She raked in the tidy sum as bandmates Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton hit the road without her for their national tour.

While her umbrella firm Beckham Brand Holdings boasts £14.5 million in dividends, the star netted £641,667 in director’s pay from her fashion firm, which calculates to be five times less than the money she took home from her pop career.

A source told The Sun: ‘Her beauty business is thriving and she is focusing on building that.’

Added a spokesperson: ‘Like so many businesses, a challenging retail landscape coupled with the unforeseen effects of the coronavirus pandemic has adversely impacted the Victoria Beckham business.’
