And a starry crowd ignored the day one downpours at SW19 to enjoy the first round of matches at Wimbledon which saw Novak Djokovic open the action on Centre Court.

TV presenter Stacey added a splash of colour to the dreary day, wowing in a pink cropped shirt teamed with high-waisted leather trousers.

She added strappy heels and sunglasses to her spectator ensemble.

The star held hands with her dancer beau Kevin, marking a rare public appearance for the couple who fell in love on the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The star made some concession to the rain with a smart black blazer draped around her shoulders while her dapper husband held an umbrella over their heads.

The couple showed a glimpse at their VIP treatment at the tournament, snapping photos from a golf buggy for their Instagrams.

Meanwhile, Rochelle’s bandmate from The Saturdays, Mollie King, also turned out in pink for day one.

The Radio 1 star, who announced last week that she is expecting her first child with cricketer Stuart Broad, looked gorgeous in a summery pink and white stripe dress.

Fellow former popstar Rachel Stevens teamed an oversized black blazer with a crochet knot maxi dress for her day at Wimbledon, finishing her look with glam silver heels.

Amanda’s dress featured a quirky layered top and thigh-grazing skirt, with buttons running up the length of the chic garment.

Rafael Nadal meanwhile will make his return to the hallowed grass courts having not played at Wimbledon since 2019.

Eyes will also be on British player Emma Raducanu after she made history last summer as the first qualifier to win the US Open – and 23-time grand slam winner Serena Williams who is coming back as a wild card.

Both active British grand slam champions – Raducanu and Sir Andrew Murray – will play their first round matches on centre court on Monday.

Tenth seed Raducanu is nursing a side strain while Sir Andy, who is unseeded, is battling an abdominal strain.

Organisers have also announced record prize money for this summer’s tournament, with the two singles champions taking home £2 million.

The total prize money of £40.35 million is an 11.1% increase on 2021’s Championships, where capacity was reduced for Covid reasons, and 5.4% higher than the last regular tournament in 2019.

As The Championships celebrate Centre Court’s 100-Year anniversary this year, evian, together with Wimbledon has launched a brand new podcast, Wimbledon: Between the Lines’. 

Fronted by BBC Radio 1 presenters and tennis enthusiasts Mollie King & Matt Edmondson, the series brings tennis-talk, revelations and conversations direct from SW19.
